- I am a writer/visual artist based in Chicago. My interviews with celebrities like Paulina Rubio, Gloria Trevi, La India, Margaret Cho, RuPaul, and Maria Conchita Alonso have graced the covers of prominent Chicago monthlies such as Identity. Other features have appeared in various weeklies/monthlies, including Windy City Times and SCENE magazine (International gay men’spublication). I also write personal narratives to share in an open medium. When I’m not searching for a person of interest to interview, covering an event or writing about an important issue in our community- I paint portraits. I am a citizen of the world in search of new cultures, languages, and people who are making significant contributions to the diversification of our world.
